Outdoor Research Aspire Plus 3L Pants are our best-selling high-performance packable rain shell for lightweight, durable, breathable, waterproof rain protection.

Made from highly waterproof (20K) and breathable (10K), 100% seam sealed and 100% recycled 3L (three-layer) fabric with movement-mirroring stretch these pants use Outdoor Research's proprietary AscentShell™ Dry technology.

This ensures exceptional breathability, waterproofing, and wind resistance. Effectively keeping moisture out while allowing sweat vapour to escape, helping to regulate body temperature.

The Aspire's mechanical stretch, articulated knees, and gusseted crotch provide an unrestricted range of motion, while full seam taping and YKK® Aquaguard® zippers offer additional moisture protection.

The 3/4-length side zippers make it easy to put on and take off, even over footwear. When the sun comes out, the pants can be conveniently stowed in their back pocket and clipped to a harness or backpack.

• Are these women's pants? Yes they are made in USA extended sizing which are sizes 2X, 3X & 4X which are different to Australian sizes 2XL to 4XL. They are roughty equivant to sizes 20 to 30.

• Can these pants be worn by men? Yes, we have had quite a few men instore try these pants on and have been delighted with their quality and fit. 

• Are these pants lightweight and packable? Yes, Outdoor Research have designed these pants to feature lightweight and packable materials and qualities to ensure they're never left behind.

• Will these pants keep me warm? Yes but in the sense that they cut the wind and the wet which are two of the main factors making you cold, however these pants are not insulated. They are designed to be lightweight and versatile so you can layer as needed - for cold conditions, you should layer underneath with a pair of thermals or warm pants (ideally not denim or cotton).
